Althea Retreading Corporation (ARC) started out as a dealer in the tire industry in 1987, an enterprising store of brand new and second hand tires, inner tubes, flaps, rims and other tire accessories. As such, it was originally registered under the name Althea Enterprises, accepting casings for recap of mostly light truck and truck tires.
After some time, the company president's ten year exposure, knowledge, and experience in the pre-cured cold process retread industry strengthened his desire to put up his own recapping plant. In 1995, Althea Retreading Corporation was born and became operational in the vulcanization, repair and retreading (recapping) of tires to effectively service its various customers from private car owners, jeepney operators, bus companies, truck owners and operators of oversized and off-the-road tires, as well as solid and pneumatic forklift tire owners.
ARC management undertakes the control of manufacturing, production, quality control, sales and marketing. The company has experienced and well-trained managers, supervisors, and sales people to maintain high standard of quality retread, repairs and other tire services. ARC employs competent production and manufacturing staff that enable the company to formulate quality tread rubber materials and to produce high grade services in the retreading of tires.
